Before buying a bicycle, perhaps you should consider these three points :
Competitive cyclists, especially road cyclists, usually evaluate a bicycle based on the criteria of "lighter, harder, more aerodynamic" when choosing a bicycle. It is obvious that they pursue the ultimate speed. It has to be said that cycling is becoming a national sport. Enjoying the fun of riding without being restricted by competition should be the best choice for ordinary enthusiasts. As ordinary enthusiasts, when we consider bicycles, we may try to evaluate a bicycle from several other aspects.
Comfort:
Comfort includes bicycle geometry, handlebars, seat height, and riding posture. An ill-fitting reach and seat may cause serious damage to your back, wrists, shoulders, and knees.
2. Durability
Take the flywheel as an example. To fit more flywheels in a limited space, you need to make the flywheel thinner and the corresponding chain narrower. Of course, the hardness may be enough, but they will wear faster. If you compare the 6-speed flywheel from earlier years with the top flywheel now, the 6-speed may be able to be used for 30 years, but do you think the 12-speed can be used?
Most amateur riders rarely use so many flywheels. In fact, 6 wheels are enough to cope with daily riders, and daily speed changes are not as sophisticated as 11-speed flywheels or higher.
Frame selection. Although carbon fiber frames are durable under normal riding conditions, the premise is that you have to worry more, just like worrying about the car being scratched. Steel and aluminum frames are relatively more durable, so you don’t have to worry too much and ride more happily.
3. Easy to maintain
Radio frequency changes have gradually become standard for high-end bicycles, but these may not be a good choice for amateurs like us or even professional bicycle repairers because they are more difficult to maintain.
Although external cables are less aerodynamic and less beautiful to some extent, they are obviously easier in daily use.
A good bicycle is not just about speed
A bicycle is a machine that needs maintenance, it is not just born for speed. Choosing the right one for you is the most important thing! |
